Harmeet K. Dhillon founded Dhillon Law Group in 2006. After many years serving as our Managing Partner, she departed the firm in 2025 to serve as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice.

It has been almost 4 years to the day when a small group of Americans came together to protest the explosion of our government. The lack of representation on both sides of the aisle sparked what was considered the greatest uprising of a “UNITED Grassroots Citizen” movement in order to protest an out-of control government. This movement was called the Tea Party.

I covered that first protest on the north steps of the California State Capitol on February 27th, 2009. From that day forward I have not given up to help bring sanity back to this insane government. However, like many other Tea Partiers, I was not looking for fame in politics. I wanted to get back to building the American Dream for my family in my chosen profession, which was photography. We were just doing “our part” to protect our Constitutional Rights for our children and our children’s children.
