Harmeet Dhillon Appears on ‘Fox News @Night’ To Discuss 2020 Race, Impeachment
According to Dhillon (Video Transcript):
Right. Well, I think it’s pretty much shaving Biden in the back and definitely throwing him on the side. And a lot of the comments that were made today by Deval Patrick are definitely for the wrong shade. Joe Biden. And I think the fact that he got into the race and the fact that Bloomberg got into the race is indicative of the Democratic establishment, serious concerns about the quality of this field and their ability to beat the president. But Deval Patrick comes with all of the baggage of Mitt Romney, and none of the left-wing credentials that the AOC and Bernie Sanders wing of the party demand and they’re really the ones driving the party left. Everybody has seen those debate stages and nobody is talking the same way as Deval Patrick. So I don’t think that Democratic Party exists anymore, that would nominate him.
Well, I would say that a lot of these senators who are running for president have been missing in action for a long time anyway. Kamala Harris and Cory Booker are the two senators with the most missed votes and Kamala has missed over half of our vote. So I’m not sure it will make a difference to her. She’ll probably keep doing what she’s doing. But I think it’s a tongue in cheek approach to it. I don’t think that’s really necessary. Frankly, the democrats are doing a great job of knocking each other out without the impeachment vote.
Galvanizing the base. That’s right.
Thanks Shannon.
