According to Dhillon:

The president or his relatives were not indicted when Democrats were saying that they were sure he was going to be indicted for serious crimes. Brennan said he has committed treason. Other things claimed by Democrats hysterically throughout these past two years did not happen, like interference by the president in the investigation. We haven’t seen any evidence of any kind of conspiracy. The indictments that came out are of people who are close to the president that would have never been indicted. They haven’t indicted for collusion or any crimes that the Democrats claimed that would be uncovered. A lot of those indictments are Russians who are not going to make their way into the United States. This is an abuse of power and it traces back to the Obama Administration. And no president, Democrat or Republican, should have the wheels of justice turned against them.

It’s clear that the investigation was thorough and it was lengthy. Over $25 million spent. Democrats want the Department of Justice to set aside the ground rules you referred to. We need a situation where those rules are followed, but other Republicans who would like to see the report to the extent that other rules should not redact it, and I would like to see some of that underlying evidence consistent with DOJ rules.
